For many people, holding one job is not enough to make ends meet and hence they have to resort to a side occupation to supplement an existing income.

Private higher education institution, MANCOSA’s School of Information and Digital Technology (SIDT), recently hosted a high-impact Masterclass on Starting a Digital Business in SA presented by Lebo Gunguluza, Fintech Pioneer Digital Strategist and Inspirational Business speaker.

Mariam Ally, Project Co-ordinator at SIDT and MANCOSA SkillME said, “The Masterclass was attended by aspiring entrepreneurs seeking to find innovative ways of supplementing their monthly salaries.

“Through Gunguluza’s first-hand experience, the audience was treated to expert-insight pertaining to market trends and digitization, online business start-ups, Search Engine Optimisation, funding and ecommerce.

“The Masterclass was delivered online, through MANCOSA’s innovative and future-oriented SkillME learning platform which is aimed at upskilling and reskilling the labour market in essential digital skills for the modern digital economy,” she said.

The next MANCOSA Masterclass on Saturday, 26 February 2022 from 9am until 5pm will delve into Digital Transformation Strategy led by Sudhish Mohan, Chief Information Officer at Old Mutual Limited.

This Masterclass will address key guidelines, principles and approaches, which managers, leaders and entrepreneurs need to consider when pursuing successful digitally driven value creation in their organisation.
