MANCOSA’s Schools Entrepreneurship Competition

The Schools Entrepreneurship Competition has been around for 2 years. The platform was established to encourage innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit to unearth our future business leaders.

This year, the finals took place on the 17th of August 2016 at the Mancosa [GSB]. The final contestants had to present their business plan to a panel of judges who used the following criteria to make their final decision:

  • Creativity
  • Sustainability
  • Innovation
  • Structure
  • Originality

Muhammad Zaahid Ismail from Al-Falaah College took first prize which encompassed a bursary from MANCOSA, as well as a tablet. Second and third place was awarded to Naeem Pandor of Al-Falaah College and Kaley Reddy of Star College, respectively.
