Operations Coordinator : Durban

Core functions:

  • Assist in day-to-day coordination and management of operational activities/projects.
  • Coordinate project tasks to ensure project delivery within allotted budget and timelines by creating assignments, tracking progress, and resolving issues
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationship through regular meetings and communications.
  • Identify problems in operations process and contribute effectively to resolve them in an efficient manner.
  • Maintain clear and accurate operations documents/procedures for reference purposes.
  • Preparing and maintaining operations documents and reports.

Qualification/s:

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Operations or similar field of study

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in office management or administrative role.
  • Experience in Higher Education will be preferred

  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Public speaking skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional approach to career with a great degree of flexibility.

Additional requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel locally
  • May be required to work overtime based on business requirements
